Brandi Arey

Brandi Arey is a seasoned coach, competitor, and community-builder with over six years of experience leading strength and conditioning programs. As the Co-Founder of CrossFit United LKN, she brings a deep passion for fitness, a sharp eye for movement, and a genuine commitment to helping others discover what they’re capable of — both in and out of the gym.

With certifications including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), NSCA-CPT, and CrossFit Level 2, Brandi blends technical expertise with real-world coaching that meets people where they are. She has coached hundreds of athletes across all fitness levels and previously led a thriving fitness program that grew to serve over 100 members before launching United.

Brandi is also a competitive CrossFit athlete, having qualified for Semifinals both individually and on a team. But what drives her most isn’t the leaderboard, it’s creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and strong.

At United, Brandi leads with purpose, passion, and the belief that we’re stronger together.

Cameron Shaffner

CrossFit United | Registered Dietitian & Coach

Cameron is a former collegiate athlete, Registered Dietitian, and CrossFit Level 1 trainer. Her passion for sports performance began on the field and grew during her two years working with the UNC Football team Dietitian while completing her Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics.

She knows what it takes to perform at a high level—but also how to make nutrition realistic and enjoyable. Her love for food began long before athletics, cooking Sunday dinners with her grandparents and seeing firsthand how food creates both health and community.

Cameron’s approach is simple: nutrition should be accessible to everyone, built on habits that feel achievable, and powerful enough to fuel both workouts and everyday life.
